This August, the Palmerston Agricultural Society is getting back into the swing of things for a fair.  Since planning needs to done well in advance of what the government decides for re-opening plans, we have come up with some events that could take place no matter the phase the province is in.

Window/Yard Display.
This is a judged competition where businesses can decorate their windows and residents can decorate their yards to reflect our theme, advertise for the fair and unify the town.

This year we have chosen Sunflowers and Scarecrows for the theme.  Prizes will be 1st - $100.00, 2nd - $80.00, 3rd - $60.00.  There will be a Business class and a Residential class.

Drive Thru Parade
A Drive Thru Parade will be held on August 28, 2021.  We will set up stationary ‘floats’ around the arena parking lot and have spectators drive or walk through.  Any business, sports group, club or organization that might have previously been in the parade or anyone wishing to promote their business, sports group, club or organization can set up. 
Set up will be from 9:00am until 11:30am.  Parade starts at 1:00pm through 3:00pm.  Must be a least 6 feet in width up to 20 feet.  Email to register with Janelle Hill – janellegrein19@gmail.com, phone or text 519-575-3667 by August 25, 2021
Check in starts at 9:00am Aug 28.  Displays need to be large enough to be viewed from a vehicle as they pass by.

• Farm Implements
• Animal Display
• Company Fleet
• Sports club or sports organization float

Kids are welcome to decorate their bike and pedal through for a pop and a bag of chips

Name the Mule. 
The Palmerston Ag Society needs a name for this cute mule.  She is a miniature mule and a lively little animal.  Submit your entries to our Facebook or Instagram. 
All entries will be entered into a random draw for a prize.  We will contact the prize winner direct.
